Jins data news on March 13th, local time on the morning of March 13th, the Constitutional Court of Korea ruled on the impeachment case against Cui Zaihai, the head of the Korean Inspection Institute initiated by the Korean National Assembly, the court rejected the impeachment case, and Cui Zaihai resumed his power. The Korean National Assembly submitted the relevant impeachment case to the Constitutional Court on December 5th last year. In the impeachment reasons, the National Assembly believed that Cui Zaihai, the head of the Inspection Institute, did not diligently fulfill his supervisory duties during the presidency and official residence relocation process when the government of Yin Xiyue took office. The impeachment case against Cui Zaihai is part of a series of impeachments initiated by the largest opposition party, the Minjoo Party of Korea, against senior public officials in Korea. Korean President Yin Xiyue issued a state of emergency on December 3rd last year and subsequently stated multiple times that the opposition party's abuse of impeachment power by relying on the majority seats in the National Assembly is one of the important reasons for the imposition of martial law.
