These scams are cunning, using trust to lure victims into false cryptocurrency investments and then disappearing with the funds. The report shows that cyber threats in 2024 increased by 40% compared to the previous year. There were three main types of attacks in 2024 that resulted in significant losses: 'Access control vulnerabilities: 19 billion dollars in losses in 67 incidents; Smart contract vulnerabilities: 456.8 million dollars in losses in 98 incidents; Address poisoning attacks: 68.7 million dollars in losses in one incident'.
