Microsoft signs a protocol worth up to $19.4 billion to purchase cloud computing capabilities from Nebius.

Jin10 Data reported on September 9 that the artificial intelligence infrastructure company Nebius announced on September 8 local time that it has signed a commercial protocol with Microsoft. According to the protocol, Nebius will provide dedicated GPU infrastructure capacity to Microsoft at its data center in Vineland, New Jersey over the next five years. GPU services will be deployed in multiple batches in 2025 and 2026. Subject to the deployment and availability of GPU services, the total contract value is approximately $17.4 billion by 2031. Microsoft may also obtain additional services and/or capacity under the protocol, which would increase the total contract value to about $19.4 billion.
