The G20 is working to improve this space, viewing it as key to boosting trade, economic growth, and development. They plan to implement faster, more affordable, and more accessible payments. Goals for 2017 and 2030 They have set clear targets for retail, wholesale payments, and remittances, aiming for significant advancements by 2027 and 2030. The targets for 2027 and 2030 include reducing cross-border payment costs to 1% or lower and ensuring that 75% of payment transactions are completed within one hour.

Promote Inter-Industry Collaboration To achieve its goals, the Faster Payments Council of the United States (FPC) calls on domestic providers to adopt ISO 20022, harness interoperability, and utilize blockchain technology such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). The Council also emphasizes points such as focusing on financial inclusion and promoting collaboration across sectors. The Council specifically notes Ripple and Stellar as key companies that could enhance the global cross-border payments landscape. Ripple is reshaping global payments with RippleNet technology and XRP. By complying with global rules ( such as ISO 20022) and utilizing smart blockchain tools, it is the top choice to help the G20 achieve its payment goals. As more companies adopt Ripple's solutions, XRP may witness significant gains from rising demand. With increasing adoption, experts predict that $XRP will easily reach $10-$20 by 2025. Reaching $100 is possible, but the likelihood is higher in early 2026. Finally, as technology and the network continue to expand, $XRP could reach $1,000.
