Trump claims that it can be determined who blew up the Nord Stream pipeline without an investigation.
On May 6, U.S. President Trump said that even if he did not conduct a corresponding investigation, he would be able to find out who blew up the "Nord Stream" and "Nord Stream-2" gas pipelines. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, "Most likely, if I ask certain people, I'll be able to tell you [who blew up the pipeline] without spending a lot of money on an investigation." Trump said that "a lot of people know who blew up" the pipeline. At the same time, Trump mentioned that many did not believe him when he denied Russia's alleged involvement in the incident. Trump also claims that it was he who prevented the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project, boycotting it at the stage of pipeline construction.
