President Trump stated that the United States is engaged in "serious discussions with a 'new, more reasonable regime'" to "end our military actions in Iran."

Trump also said that if no agreement is reached, the U.S. will "blow up and completely destroy all their power plants, oil wells, Hark Island, and possibly even all desalination plants."
