Recently, airdrop season has heated up again, task platforms are anti-witchcraft and point systems make everyone feel like clocking in at work, I see that the most common question is not “What task to do today,” but “Should I give this DApp unlimited authorization?” Basically, unlimited authorization is like copying your wallet key and leaving it on someone’s desk; usually it’s fine, but if the contract has a bug, the project team’s permissions get messy, or you click on a phishing site, it’s no longer just “losing some gas.”

My current habit is similar to closing the door before sleeping: after completing interactions, I conveniently revoke authorization, especially for old contracts, those not used for a long time, or with large limits. Spending a few more seconds can prevent waking up one day to find your balance “automatically drained”… Anyway, you can take your time to earn tokens, but don’t leave your wallet exposed. We’ll chat again next time.
