Amerika mencabut sanksi terhadap Wakil Presiden Venezuela

Xinhua News Agency Washington, April 1 - The U.S. Department of the Treasury issued a notice on the 1st, lifting sanctions against Venezuela’s interim President Delsy Rodriguez.

According to the announcement issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Rodriguez’s name has been removed from the sanctions list.

On January 3rd this year, the U.S. military launched a large-scale military strike against Venezuela, forcibly took control of President Maduro and his wife, and brought them to the United States. The then Vice President Rodriguez subsequently assumed the role of interim president. Recently, Venezuela and the United States have respectively restored their embassies in each other’s countries.
