People’s Financial News 8 April - Salt Lake Co., Ltd. on April 8th stated on the interactive platform that the company actively revitalizes the existing assets of the Qinghai Salt Lake nitrate industry potassium nitrate plant.
It established Qinghai Salt Lake Wojin Thermal Storage Technology Co., Ltd. through a subsidiary, Qinghai Salt Lake Investment, to promote the deep integration of energy storage and chemical industries, and to layout research and development of molten salt thermal storage technology, equipment upgrades, and related product production and sales.
Among them, the 400k-ton molten salt project of Salt Lake Wojin (including a 200k-ton sodium nitrate plant and a 200k-ton neutralization method potassium nitrate plant) has completed technical transformation and is currently in the production increase operation stage.
The company holds a 40% stake through Salt Lake Investment, and at this stage, the project’s contribution to overall operations is limited.
