The circulated image shows that Hikvision’s surveillance system has a vulnerability, and more than 300 people at its headquarters were taken away for investigation. In response to this rumor, a reporter contacted Hikvision as an investor; the staff member who answered the call explicitly stated that the above rumor is false, that the company does not have such a situation, and emphasized “do not believe rumors and do not spread rumors.” Based on the staff member’s personal understanding, the company currently has no related business in Iran.
