Mars Finance News 26 March — The “Implementation Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry in Guangzhou” has been issued. By 2027, the goal is to achieve the “Six Ones”: establish a policy mechanism that encourages continuous innovation in AI; build a number of effective AI general technology service centers that drive industry applications; launch a series of technologically advanced AI application breakthroughs and distinctive AI application demonstrations; cultivate a batch of strong, complementary, and innovative AI enterprises; attract versatile talents who understand both technology and industry; and optimize an industrial ecosystem suitable for AI investment and entrepreneurship. The plan aims to achieve broad and deep integration of artificial intelligence with industry, consumption, people’s livelihood, and governance, with the adoption rate of new intelligent terminals and intelligent agents exceeding 70%. By 2030, Guangzhou’s AI will be fully empowered for high-quality development, with the adoption rate of new intelligent terminals and intelligent agents exceeding 90%. The intelligent economy will become a key growth pole of the city’s economy, striving for the “Ten Hundred Thousand” results, creating an AI ecological value park, forming AI industry application demonstration zones and new intelligent terminal clusters, and building 10 AI industry application general technology service platforms (including AI pilot bases and empowerment centers). It will also develop 100 large models with market competitiveness and industry promotion, 1,000 AI scene application demonstrations, and cultivate 10,000 “AI+” related enterprises, including 1-2 leading companies with revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan and 2-3 top-selling intelligent terminal products nationwide. The goal is to form a trillion-yuan industrial ecosystem around core AI industries and related applications, making Guangzhou a globally influential hub for specialized AI models.
