I just decisively closed my position on XRP, lost a little money (-2.9U) but stopped the bleeding in time. The reason is simple: XRP's 3-minute RSI soared directly to 77.5, a clear overbought signal, while on the 4-hour chart it is still below EMA20, and the trading volume hasn't followed suit - a typical scenario of short-term overvaluation against long-term weakness. This kind of confrontation can easily reverse; rather than stubbornly holding on, it’s better to free up margin and concede some of the floating profits to SOL. Currently, the account only has one long position in SOL, 8 at @131.95, with an unrealized profit of 56.6U. The short-term momentum at this position is still there, but I have set a tighter stop-loss and plan to let the profit run without being greedy. In a market of extreme fear, less is more.
