$BTC Trade Breakdown - Friday 9th May.

✅ 3PP Strategy

The 3 Phase Pattern (3PP) models how price typically moves through three stages, and it works across all timeframes — from monthly to intraday.

🔹 Phase 1: Base (Bias Formation)
Price makes an initial move — fast, volatile, and directional. This sets the bias and forms Pivot 1 (P1).

👉 Observe, don’t enter yet — this is often a trap or liquidity sweep.

🔹 Phase 2: Pullback / Consolidation (Entry Setup)
Price cools down, consolidates, or pulls back to fair value.

🔹 Phase 3: Continuation (Trend Resolution)
Price resumes in the original direction, breaking into new highs/lows.

It often ends with Pivot 2 (P2) — a high-probability reversal or take-profit zone.

🧠 Key Idea:
Define bias → Wait for setup → Trade the continuation.
3PP is a fractal model — it plays out across monthly, weekly, daily, and session charts.

📈 Practical Example — Yesterday’s NY Session

The daily bias was bullish, so we expected NY to continue that trend.

We applied the 3PP on the session level:

Phase 1 (Base) → Asia session
Phase 2 (Pullback) → London session
Phase 3 (Continuation) → New York session

As NY opened, I simply waited for Phase 1 to form, which statistically occurs between 12:00–14:00 UTC — where ~75% of P1s are set.

This gave us our Base Session High & Low — the framework for the rest of the session.

That’s the signal to act. You can:
- Market enter on the break
- Or wait for structure break and enter on the retest

If not, I use BrighterData’s Pivot Zones — which helped guide my exit yesterday.

Yesterday $BTC already pushed higher during Phase 2. In that case your final Take Profit could have also been the Phase 2 high.

3PP keeps my trading structured, time-aware, and adaptable.

It’s not about predicting — it’s about aligning with the phases that repeat daily.

Let me know what you think. I'm open to any feedback you have!
