At the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said that artificial intelligence will help businesses operate with a minimum number of employees, even just one person. He compares this scenario to how Satoshi Nakamoto single-handedly created Bitcoin.

Tenev believes that in the future, "one-person companies" supported by AI will become popular, and these companies will be encoded into tokens for trading on the blockchain. He said: "You can invest in an individual or an economic activity run by one person - just like Bitcoin, the product bearing the personal imprint of Satoshi Nakamoto, backed by technology."

Although no one knows the true identity of Satoshi, his or her ( legacy has given birth to a multi-trillion dollar industry, with blockchain being applied from payments to supply chains and financial products.

Robinhood is also currently benefiting from the recovery of the crypto market. Revenue in the first quarter of 2025 reached $927 million – exceeding Wall Street's forecast – of which the crypto segment contributed $252 million. Net profit increased by 114% to $336 million.
