MEET48 will officially launch the first annual global idol popularity contest of Web3.0 in June.

According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on May 9, MEET48, the world's first AI-Agent and AIUGC fan economy ecological community based on Web3.0 architecture and focused on the entertainment field, officially announced that it will hold the 1st Web3.0 All-Community Annual Idol Popularity Audition & Ceremony (referred to as WIPA), forming a global strategic partnership with this year's SNH48 GROUP Annual Youth Gala, and jointly hosting a report and award ceremony on August 2 at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong, China.

This is the world's first pioneering attempt to introduce blockchain mechanisms into the idol selection system. Members of SNH48 GROUP, primarily real idols from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Asian countries and regions, AI Agent groups, as well as representative combinations from the virtual human field, will jointly participate in this coronation ceremony filled with unknowns and glory, playing the youth prelude of the new era on the chain.

The WIPA will officially launch in early June, and overseas fans will vote for the first TOP 16 idols through the MEET48 app and the official website. The final voting will officially close on August 2, and the final results will be announced live at the WIPA annual finals performance and awards ceremony (held simultaneously with the SNH48 GROUP annual youth gala) on that day.
