ChinaJoy 2025 is scheduled for August, with AI innovation and globalization as highlights.
The 22nd China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition will be held in Shanghai in August 2025.
On June 24, the press conference for the 22nd China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition (ChinaJoy) in 2025 was held at the Kerry Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai. The conference announced that this year's ChinaJoy will take place from August 1 to 4 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
Several important guests attended the press conference, including Tang Jiajun, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Audio-Video and Digital Publishing Association, Lu Yiwei, Director of the Network Publishing Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee's Publicity Department, and Wu Jun, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the Pudong New District Committee of Shanghai.
This year's ChinaJoy is themed "Gathering What You Love." Currently, 743 companies have registered for the exhibition, including 237 foreign-funded enterprises from 37 countries and regions, accounting for 31.8% of the total. The total exhibition area of the BTOC interactive entertainment hall is 110,000 square meters, while the area of the BTOB business negotiation hall is 25,000 square meters.
Many well-known gaming companies will showcase popular products at the exhibition. Tencent Games, NetEase Games, Century Huatong, Perfect World, and others will display multiple operating and new games. PlayStation, Xishanju, Kingsoft, 4399, and others will also bring their own特色 products.
In terms of conferences, the 2025 ChinaJoy will hold multiple professional forums concurrently, including the China International Digital Entertainment Industry Conference (CDEC) and the China Game Developers Conference (CGDC). It is expected to invite hundreds of industry heavyweight guests to share their insights.
The highlights of the exhibition include: focusing on AI technology innovation, creating a "Creator Zone", enhancing international attributes, optimizing business matching services, and exploring new ways to integrate online and offline interactions.
This year's ChinaJoy will also collaborate with the Steam platform to launch a "ChinaJoy Game Show" global special page, showcasing the exhibition content to players around the world.
The exhibition tickets will be sold in three rounds, with super early bird tickets available from July 2. Conference attendance certificates and professional visitor passes are already on sale.
The organizing committee attaches great importance to security assurance work and will strictly control aspects such as content review, on-site management, and publicity guidance to ensure that the exhibition is held safely and orderly.
