SwissBorg, the cryptoassets management platform in Switzerland, has just confirmed that it was hacked through the API of its staking partner Kiln, resulting in approximately 193,000 Solana tokens valued at nearly 41 million USD being stolen from the Earn program. Other products of SwissBorg were not affected.

According to CEO Cyrus Fazel, the incident only affected 1% of customers and 2% of total assets, posing no risk to the company's financial situation. SwissBorg asserts that it will fully reimburse affected users and states that the current fund is sufficient for compensation. The company is also coordinating with international authorities, exchanges, and white hat hackers for investigation, during which some transactions have been blocked.

Data on Solscan shows that the stolen SOL was transferred to a wallet labeled "SwissBorg Exploiter". Fazel admitted that this is "a bad day" but considers the incident a learning experience for SwissBorg.
