According to ChainCatcher news and reports from CCTV News, international gold prices have recently hit new highs, breaking through the key thresholds of 3200 USD, 3300 USD, 3400 USD, and 3500 USD per ounce in the past seven trading days. So far this year, gold prices have risen by about 30%, building on an increase of approximately 30% last year. Market participants focused on precious metal investments expressed in interviews with reporters that the speed of the recent rise in gold prices is unprecedented, and pointed out that this may indicate that the market is undergoing some sort of "fundamental change."
