Guangxi Tobacco collaborates with public security departments to eliminate illegal virtual money trading criminal gangs involved in tobacco.

According to Wu, as reported by the Oriental Tobacco News, the Guangxi Liuzhou Tobacco Monopoly Bureau successfully dismantled a criminal gang engaged in illegal tobacco transactions using virtual money, specifically Tether (USDT), in cooperation with the public security department. The "Virtual Currency Cigarette Transaction Situation Awareness System" of the Liuzhou Tobacco Joint Command Data Center acquires virtual currency flow data by building blockchain nodes to synchronize the entire chain ledger, assisting the public security department in accurately capturing 12 local suspects related to the case in Liuzhou, and seizing 84,400 illegal cigarettes, involving a transaction volume of 28,625 Tether.
