Weizhan, a cross-border crowdsourcing platform, has long faced challenges in capital flow. The platform's task publishing and settlement occur on the EVM network, but most contractors are active in the Cosmos ecosystem, using local stablecoins. This cross-chain operation often leads to capital blockage or the need for manual reconciliation in the middle of the month.

To solve this problem, the operations manager Jingwen decided to migrate the system to the Kava network. This move retained the front-end Solidity contracts and the wallet interface familiar to users, while deploying task publishing, staking, and arbitration functions on Kava's EVM Co-Chain. Meanwhile, the contractor's payments, margin distribution, and tax processing were transferred to the Cosmos Co-Chain, with accounts mapped through Translator and funds distributed to regional treasury using the IBC protocol.

This change has had a significant effect. When the new system was first run, a confirmation of "Payment Received" was received within just 5 minutes after the work order was completed, completely resolving the previously frequent "bottleneck" issue. More importantly, Jingwen can now monitor three key indicators on the BI dashboard simultaneously: "EVM Side Task Success Rate", "Cosmos Side Arrival Delay", and "Unit Channel Cost", shifting the focus of team meetings from "firefighting" to "efficiency improvement".

Subsequently, Jingwen also introduced a flexible strategy: during peak promotional periods, increasing the routing weight for Southeast Asia settlements by 20%, and directly executing new customer discounts on the Cosmos side. These adjustments are imperceptible to users while maintaining consistency in reporting metrics.

Jingwen summarized in her investment research notes: The true value of Kava lies not just in adding a new blockchain, but in successfully integrating "two sets of markets" into "one process." This means that with just one round of coding and auditing, the clearing and governance strategies can be adjusted as needed, putting the certainty of the product experience back in the hands of the operations team.

This case demonstrates the unique advantages of the Kava network in cross-chain application scenarios, providing a more efficient and flexible blockchain solution for cross-border businesses.
