The digital asset trading platform Bitpanda is actively planning its IPO, and the company's co-founder Eric Demuth recently revealed some interesting details.

According to Demuth, Bitpanda is currently seriously considering going public on the Frankfurt or New York Stock Exchange, rather than the London Stock Exchange as previously widely expected. The main reason behind this decision is concerns about the current liquidity situation of the London Stock Exchange.

Demuth pointed out that the London Stock Exchange is currently facing serious challenges. Data shows that the IPO financing amount in London has dropped to its lowest point in 30 years in the first half of this year, raising doubts about its global competitiveness. More notably, several companies, including the well-known fintech company Wise, have begun to shift their primary listing locations overseas in hopes of attracting more global investors.

Although Bitpanda is enthusiastic about the listing, the specific timetable has not been determined. Demuth stated that the company will continue to closely monitor market trends and make a final decision at the appropriate time.

At the same time, the recent cryptocurrency policy released by the UK has also faced some criticism. Some analysts believe that the UK may have missed the opportunity to maintain a leading position in the distributed ledger financial sector. This may also be one of the reasons why Bitpanda is considering other listing locations.

With the continuous development of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, the listing plans of platforms like Bitpanda will undoubtedly attract more investors' attention. Regardless of which exchange is ultimately chosen, Bitpanda's listing will be an important milestone in the development of the digital asset industry.
