The on-chain research field has long faced a thorny issue: how to effectively capture value while keeping content free and insights fragmented. This dilemma has not only led to frequent plagiarism and abuse but has also made it difficult for professional researchers and data engineers to establish sustainable income sources.
In this context, Bubblemaps has proposed an innovative approach that condenses complex on-chain phenomena into interpretable maps through a 'cluster-connect-timing' method. This approach not only improves the efficiency of research but also lays the foundation for the standardization of research results.
InfoFi, as an emerging concept, is fundamentally about transforming 'intelligence' into tradable, stakable, and liquidatable asset units. This transformation requires two key steps:
First, research output needs to be modularized. Traditional lengthy reports are often difficult to reuse, while graph insights can be broken down into multiple 'evidence fragments'. These fragments can be sources of funds for specific address groups, relationships of cross-chain transfers, or abnormal market activities within a certain time window. Each fragment has a corresponding verifiable trace and metadata in Bubblemaps. Researchers can package these fragments into Evidence NFTs and sell or license them to market participants at BMT pricing. In this model, what buyers acquire is not an abstract 'opinion', but rather 'evidence modules' that can be directly applied to strategies. If the evidence is negated by on-chain facts, it can also trigger automatic refund or claim mechanisms, forming a result-oriented pricing model.
Secondly, the reputation and risk of research need to be closely bound. To this end, a three-stage game mechanism has been introduced: submitting evidence requires staking BMT, other researchers can initiate challenges and provide counter-evidence, and ultimately the community arbitration contract will determine the outcome based on on-chain facts and timestamps. This mechanism not only ensures the quality of research but also provides researchers with a fair competition platform.
In this way, InfoFi aims to reshape the on-chain research ecosystem, providing researchers with better value capture pathways while also offering market participants higher quality and more reliable on-chain intelligence. This not only helps improve the research level across the industry but also opens up new possibilities for the in-depth application of on-chain data.
