On August 19, Donald Trump Jr., Trump’s eldest son, stated in an interview that their involvement in the encryption field was not due to a deep understanding of it, but out of necessity: we (the Trump family) are being "de-banked" by the TradFi system. "A few years ago, in this city, with just one phone call, almost no one would refuse to lend to my real estate projects. But once we were labeled as 'political,' overnight we became 'unwelcome' people."
Therefore, cryptocurrencies represent the future of finance; we must establish the necessary "guardrails" for this industry through legislation to keep it here. This will be a trillion-dollar industry that should take root in the United States. The U.S. should enjoy the tax revenue, innovation, and growth it brings, and also possess that strategic foresight.
So, I am very excited about that bill because it will ensure that the United States becomes a home for future encryption and Block technology.
