According to Wu, Galaxy Digital announced the completion of a $1.4 billion project financing (debt financing) to accelerate the construction of its Helios AI data center located in Texas. This financing will fully fund the initial renovation and expansion of Helios to provide the first phase of power for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) operations, in order to fulfill the long-term agreement signed between Galaxy and CoreWeave.
