The Arbitrum community adds momentum to ecological development through a 45.815 million ARB incentive program.

The voting results of the Arbitrum incentive program are out, and 45.815 million ARB has been approved for allocation.

Recently, the Arbitrum community concluded the voting on the proposal for the long-term incentive pilot program. After intense competition, it was ultimately decided to allocate 45.815 million ARB for the incentive program, of which 45 million is for ecological incentives and 815,000 is for subsidizing the personnel involved in the work. This proposal received a support rate of 57.49% in the voting, far exceeding other options.

Arbitrum pilot program vote passed, 45.815 million ARB opens a new chapter of incentives

The pilot program aims to continue the success of the previous Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP) and optimize its improvements. Data shows that during the STIP period, various protocols in the Arbitrum ecosystem achieved significant growth in user activity, total locked value, and trading volume. For example, in the case of decentralized exchanges (DEX), daily active users increased by 118.72%, total locked value rose by 49.24%, and trading volume surged by 333.28%.

The new pilot program has been optimized in multiple aspects:

  1. The incentive mechanism is more flexible, encouraging protocols to explore diverse incentive schemes.
  2. Introduce the roles of the committee and application advisors to improve the efficiency of project screening and evaluation.
  3. Provide detailed feedback to the applicant to help improve their plan.

The application process is divided into five stages: application period (2 weeks), feedback period (2 weeks), screening period (1 week), voting period (1 week), and incentive period (12 weeks). Approved agreements will receive ARB allocations once every two weeks through a specific platform within 12 weeks.

In addition to the 45 million ARB used for ecological incentives, 815,000 ARB has been allocated to participating members, including committee members, application consultants, researchers, and data analysis providers. Among them, the total research bounty is 200,000 ARB, aimed at helping the DAO draw meaningful conclusions about the effects of the incentive program.

It is worth noting that although the Snapshot vote has been passed, an on-chain vote on another platform is still required to ultimately confirm the fund allocation. As the specific allocation plan for 45 million ARB gradually becomes clear, it is believed that the Arbitrum ecosystem will usher in a new round of development opportunities.
