The allure of the trading market often makes it hard to resist, but rushing to get on board can lead to disastrous consequences. I have also made this mistake, always being eager to enter a position, resulting in either being trapped or having to stop loss and exit. Worse yet, I developed the bad habit of holding onto losing positions. Although I have had 9 profitable experiences, just once not being able to hold on led to the painful outcome of getting liquidated.
Reflecting on these experiences, I have come to deeply understand the importance of patiently waiting. As seasoned traders in the market emphasize, the core of trading lies in patience. We often underestimate the value of waiting and are too eager to get on board. This mindset is quite dangerous.
An experienced trader once said, "Slow is Fast." This phrase contains profound wisdom. Before getting on board, we should always maintain a sense of reverence for the market. Calmly observing and patiently waiting, these three seemingly simple words are, in reality, an extremely difficult practice.
In this rapidly changing market, those who can remain calm and not be misled by short-term fluctuations often achieve better returns in the long run. Therefore, we must learn to restrain our impulses and cultivate a patient and cautious attitude. Only in this way can we go further and more steadily on the path of trading.
