TON Ecosystem Analysis: Technical Characteristics and Application Prospects of High-Performance Blockchain
TON(The Open Network), as a decentralized blockchain network, was born to meet the high concurrent interaction needs of Telegram's massive user base. Compared to traditional blockchains, TON has significant technical advantages, capable of processing millions of transactions per second.
The technical characteristics of TON are mainly reflected in high concurrency, high efficiency, and scalability. It adopts a parallel execution model based on Actors, discarding the traditional serial execution method. In TON, all objects are regarded as Actors, including accounts and smart contracts. Each Actor independently maintains its own state and is capable of processing transactions in parallel, greatly improving processing efficiency.
The sharding mechanism is key to TON's scalability. By dynamically adjusting the number of transactions processed by nodes, TON can flexibly respond to changes in transaction volume.
