[Chain News] On August 6, it was reported that the San Francisco-based neobank Slash launched a payment and funds management platform supported by a new type of USD stablecoin issued by a certain payment company under Bridge on Tuesday. The company announced that this product, named "Global USD Account", is aimed at companies that wish to use USD and make cross-border payments without needing a U.S. bank account. It introduces Slash's own stablecoin USDSL, allowing users to store, send, and receive USD or stablecoins within the same account. Slash stated that this setup is designed to shorten the Settlement time for cross-border payments to U.S. suppliers and waive forex fees.
