[Coin World] According to reports, the statue of Satoshi Nakamoto located in Lugano, Switzerland, was stolen today. On October 25, 2024, the city of Lugano unveiled a statue commemorating the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, at Ciani Park (Villa Ciani). The event was hosted by a certain company in collaboration with the city of Lugano as part of the Plan B initiative. The statue was designed by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, taking 18 months of research and 3 months of construction to complete.
