Cboe and NYSE Arca submitted a rule change application to the SEC, intending to allow encryption fund issuers to list products under a unified framework without needing to apply for approval for each new encryption ETF separately. Currently, exchanges must submit a 19b-4 form for each new encryption ETF and undergo a lengthy review. If the new rules are approved, it will further expedite encryption ETFs.
