It has been learned that Tether announced a strategic investment in the blockchain analysis company Crystal Intelligence, aimed at enhancing risk monitoring, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance capabilities to combat stablecoin abuse. Tether stated that it has assisted over 255 law enforcement agencies across 55 jurisdictions globally in freezing more than $2.7 billion in illegal funds. The two companies previously jointly supported the development of Scam Alert.
