On July 5, 10xResearch posted on social media that there are speculations claiming that the "Bitcoin miner whale that has been dormant for 14 years and awakened yesterday" may be related to "Bitcoin Jesus" Roger Ver. He was released on medical parole from a prison in Spain on June 5 of this year, and the last transfer of these bitcoins was in May 2011—just around the time Roger entered the Bitcoin space in February 2011. He must hold bitcoins worth billions of dollars. BlockBeats Note: Roger Ver, known as Bitcoin Jesus, is one of the earliest angel investors in Bitcoin and has supported several startups including BitPay, Purse, and ShapeShift. He is also the CEO of the portal website Bitcoin.com.
