The crypto investment giant Bitwise, joining the increasing interest in ETF applications recently, has submitted an ETF application for NEAR Protocol (NEAR) in the state of Delaware. Although this development quickly resonated on social media, the NEAR price continues to trade at around $2.6 and there has been no significant increase following the news.
After the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US, eyes have turned to altcoins. Although ETF applications have been made for many altcoins such as Solana (SOL), XRP, and Chainlink (LINK), the SEC has not yet approved any of these applications. However, experts believe that this situation may not last long. Expectations have increased that some altcoin ETFs could be approved within 2025.
