Matrixport and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Financial Research Institute jointly released a research report titled "Gold Token in the New Financial Paradigm"

According to Techub News, as reported by Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Dr. Tang Bo, the head of the Financial Research Institute at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, co-authored a research report with Eva Meng, the head of Matrixdock, a RWA tokenization platform under Matrixport, titled "Gold Token in the New Financial Paradigm: Reconstructing the Underlying Assets of the Global Value Network." The two analyzed in depth how gold tokens can become key asset modules under the new financial system, starting from the efficiency development challenges faced by new finance. They elaborated on the value and structural advantages of gold tokens on-chain, payment and transaction scenarios, liquidity performance, and various real-world application scenarios. They also discussed the current trust architecture of gold tokens, compliance boundaries, and the risks and challenges that may arise in the progress of the RWA tokenization track.

This cooperation marks the official launch of a specialized research project on gold tokenization products jointly conducted by both parties. In the future, we will continue to promote more industry case analyses and in-depth data research, constantly expanding the cutting-edge understanding in this field and providing the industry with more insightful theoretical support and innovative practices.
