Odaily Planet Daily News. As the debate surrounding when the Federal Reserve will end its current quantitative tightening (QT) policy heats up on Wall Street, strategists are eagerly awaiting more guidance from the Fed's latest policy meeting minutes, which will be released on Wednesday. While most market observers expect QT to end later this year, the exact timing is still uncertain. This has prompted people to follow the minutes of the July meeting, which may also provide clues about the direction of interest rates. Over the past week, the New York Fed has published a series of research reports on the implementation of monetary policy and the level of reserve balances, all of which are key topics leading up to the eventual conclusion of QT.
