Abstract generation in progress

According to official emails, PwC, the liquidator of FTX, issued an update on the liquidation process, under which FTX or FTX International's clients (Dotcom clients) have the right to file a claim in either Bahamian or US proceedings. At this stage, if the bankruptcy protection plan is approved, Dotcom clients are expected to receive a claim of 119 to 143 cents per dollar. For customers who have submitted claims for proof of debt in the Bahamas program, FTX will send a letter in the future to confirm whether the customer wishes to continue managing, processing, arbitrating, and resolving the claims in the Bahamas. Customers who have not yet submitted claims for proof of debt in the Bahamas process can submit their claims before the deadline, which is currently expected to be mid-August 2024. In addition, after the bankruptcy court approves the debtor's reorganization plan, FTX will confirm the date and next steps in writing. The hearing date for the U.S. bankruptcy court's plan is June 25, 2024.
