Brown-Forman's finance boss Leanne Cunningham to retire next year

(Reuters) -Brown-Forman said on Monday its Chief Financial Officer Leanne Cunningham is set to retire in May next year.

Cunningham has been with the Jack Daniel's maker for three decades, serving various executive roles before being named CFO in 2021.

The move comes as the company battles with weak demand amid muted consumer spending and macroeconomic volatility due to U.S. President Trump's trade policy. Brown-Forman is set to report first-quarter results on Thursday.

The company said it has initiated a formal search for a successor and aims to announce the replacement by the end of 2025.
