It is reported that U.S. special envoy for Middle East issues, Wittekov, is expected to travel to Doha, Qatar, as early as the 8th to participate in talks between Israel and Hamas and work towards an agreement. Wittekov stated at the dinner on the 7th that there is a chance to ultimately reach a peace agreement, and he hopes it can be realized soon.
