The Indian military claimed to have killed 10 armed militants in a region bordering Myanmar.

Jin10 data reported on May 15 that the Indian military stated that at least 10 armed militants were killed in the northeastern region of Manipur, which borders Myanmar and is experiencing unrest. Just a few months before this exchange of fire, Reuters reported in November 2024 that some members of Indian anti-government armed groups, who had originally fled to Myanmar and participated in the local civil war, began to return to Manipur in succession. The Indian military announced on social media X on Wednesday: "This operation has killed 10 armed personnel and seized a large amount of weapons and ammunition."
