🇺🇸 Today in New York, the trial begins for Avraham Eisenberg, who is accused of fraudulently obtaining $116 million from the cryptocurrency exchange Mango Markets. If found guilty, the criminal could face up to 20 years in prison.
👤 Although Eisenberg confirmed that he and his team orchestrated an attack on Mango Markets in October 2022, he claims it was merely a "highly profitable trading strategy" that legally exploited the protocol's advantages as intended.
🗓 It is reminded that Eisenberg was arrested in December 2022 for exploiting the decentralized exchange Mango Markets.
