Mars Finance News, April 14 — The General Office of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Transportation Service Department of the Ministry of Transport jointly convened a meeting on road testing and demonstration applications of intelligent connected vehicles, deploying self-inspection and rectification efforts, and strengthening safety supervision.
The meeting emphasized the importance of coordinating development and safety, and conducting road testing and demonstration applications of intelligent connected vehicles in a steady and orderly manner.
Local authorities should conduct comprehensive self-assessment based on recent safety incidents, identify and analyze major issues, and diligently carry out rectification work;
they should establish and improve work mechanisms, refine relevant management policies, strengthen safety supervision throughout the entire process, enhance emergency response capabilities, and ensure the safe and orderly conduct of testing and demonstration activities.
Relevant departments will continue to improve management systems related to autonomous driving, establish a three-level evaluation mechanism for technological maturity and safety at the national, local, and enterprise levels, and further strengthen emergency support capabilities to promote high-quality development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry with a high level of safety.
