Mars Finance reports that on April 11, according to Iran’s Islamic Republic Broadcasting, Iran’s Islamic Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani will hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif to agree on the timing and format of negotiations with the United States.
Additionally, according to Tasnim News Agency, Iran will raise issues of U.S. breach of commitments during the talks with the Pakistani Prime Minister.
The prerequisites for starting negotiations include unfreezing Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The U.S. has informed Pakistan and agreed to these prerequisites as well as some other conditions for initiating negotiations.
The Iranian delegation plans to assess the U.S. stance and its fulfillment of commitments during the talks before deciding whether to negotiate with the U.S. side.
In another report, Tasnim News Agency stated that if Iran and the U.S. can hold negotiations, the current plan is to start the talks later on the 11th, which may last only one day.
