Discovery Bay on Lantau Island recorded 2 short-term trading profit cases; it is understood that both units were held by the same business operator, and this round of chain transfers generated a total book profit of HK$420,000.

Centaline Property Management said the first transaction was Unit C on the low block of Sea-Sapphire Lakefront Phase 2, 12th Phase of Discovery Bay, with a usable area of 442 sq ft, a 2-bedroom and 1-suite layout, enjoying sea views. It was most recently sold for HK$4.50 million, with a usable price of HK$10,181 per sq ft.

The original owner purchased the unit for HK$4.20 million in December 2024, holding it for more than 1 year, with a book profit of HK$300,000 or 7%.

The other transaction was Unit D on a higher floor of Orchid Hill Orchid Peace Lane, Phase 4 of Discovery Bay, with a usable area of 755 sq ft, a 3-bedroom layout, enjoying both mountain and sea views. It was most recently transacted for HK$5.50 million, with a usable price of HK$7,285 per sq ft.

The original owner purchased the unit for HK$5.38 million in September 2025, holding it for only half a year, with a book profit of HK$120,000 or 2%.
