A trader with the nickname MistaFuccYou committed suicide directly on the X ( platform, formerly known as Twitter) on Friday night after losing the final 500 USD in a rug pull scam related to a meme coin.

Before firing, MistaFuccYou loaded ammunition into a rifle on livestream and said, "If I die, turn me into a meme coin." The gun jammed twice, but on the third attempt, the bullet fired.

The livestream lasted more than 30 minutes after his death, capturing the haunting scene of blood flowing endlessly, while the crypto community watched the real-time reactions. Within minutes, a slew of meme coins named after him appeared on the market.

Signs of psychological crisis and developments before the incident

According to users on X and Reddit, MistaFuccYou, also known as “Im really poor,” is only 23 years old. His recent posts show signs of mental breakdown. Some community members believe that the suicide incident stemmed not only from losses in trading but also from a breakup, as he had mentioned his girlfriend (“shorty”) but suddenly went silent about her two weeks before the incident occurred.

Just a few minutes after MistaFuccYou's death, a token called 'Mistacoin' appeared, with 70% of the total supply sent to his wallet by a developer before the incident occurred. Crypto Twitter community had mixed reactions. Some quickly rushed to buy the token, taking advantage of the attention wave to make profit. On the contrary, many expressed outrage at the market's indifference.

A user X summarized the incident in a sarcastic manner:
