纽约（美联社）——关于无家可归的书籍、美国人口普查以及古代印度，都是今年由 J. Anthony Lukas 项目颁发的奖项得主之一。该项目以已故作家兼调查记者 J. Anthony Lukas 命名。

周二，项目管理方宣布了获奖名单：哥伦比亚新闻学院（Columbia Journalism School）和哈佛大学的尼曼新闻基金会（Nieman Foundation for Journalism）。

Jeff Hobbs 的《Seeking Shelter: A Working Mother, Her Children, and a Story of Homelessness in America》赢得 Lukas 图书奖。该奖项为 10,000 美元荣誉，授予那些体现“文学优雅、致力于严肃研究以及关注社会问题”的作品。历史方面的 Mark Lynton 奖为 10,000 美元，授予结合“文学优雅、致力于严肃研究以及关注社会问题”的作品，颁给了 William Dalrymple 的《The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World》。

Lukas 工作进展奖（Lukas Work-in-Progress Awards）面向每位获奖者提供 25,000 美元，得主为 danah boyd，凭借《Data Are Made, Not Found: A Story of Politics, Power, and the Civil Servants Who Saved the U.S. Census》；以及 Karim Zidan，凭借《In the Shadow of the Cage》。

Lukas 奖项设立于 1998 年。此前的获奖者包括 Robert Caro、Isabel Wilkerson 和 Jill Lepore。
