Recent trends in domestic scrap yellow cardboard prices show a downward trajectory. As of March 31, the average daily price of domestic Grade A scrap yellow cardboard was 1,529 yuan/ton, a decrease of 1.03% from the high point on March 26. The main reasons for the decline in scrap yellow cardboard prices are as follows: First, since late March, the demand for finished paper has slowed, putting downward pressure on prices and exerting some pressure on scrap yellow cardboard prices; second, under the expectation of falling prices, packing stations have accelerated shipments, leading to an increase in inventory of scrap yellow cardboard in paper companies. Due to the seasonal decline in demand for finished paper, its prices still face downward pressure, which may continue to exert some pressure on scrap yellow cardboard prices. It is expected that in the short term, there is still some room for prices to fall.
