Legal & General Group Plc has increased its stake in Norfolk Southern Corporation by 4.6% in the third quarter, bringing its total holdings to 1,744,074 shares valued at $523,937,000. Other institutional investors also adjusted their positions in NSC. Despite a consensus “Hold” rating from analysts and an average target price of $308.95, the company recently reported strong quarterly earnings, beating estimates by $0.46 per share, and announced a quarterly dividend.
