By midday, the Shanghai Composite rose 0.24% to 4095.07 points, the Shenzhen Component Index and the ChiNext Index both increased by 0.63%; the CSI 50 Index rose 1.24%. The half-day trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets was 15,909 billion yuan, an increase of 71 billion yuan compared to the previous day; over 2,500 stocks in the entire market rose.
In terms of sectors, fiber optics, CPO, graphite electrodes, and small metals led the gains; film and television cinemas, pharmaceutical commerce, and other sectors declined.
In the market, the CPO concept strengthened again, with Dongshan Precision and Changguang Huaxin hitting the daily limit and reaching new historical highs. The fiber optics concept repeatedly became active, with Yongding Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit and setting a new record high, and Hangdian Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit. The indium metal concept rapidly surged, with Zhuyi Group hitting five consecutive limits, Yunnan Germanium Industry hitting three limits in four days and continuing to set new highs, and Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit.
