Recently, looking at the project, is it really about working seriously? I actually don’t pay much attention to how grand their milestones are. First, look at how the treasury money is spent: is it continuously funding “deliverable people/tools,” or is it just sporadically throwing money into marketing and subsidies to boost data? Frankly, the pace of spending is like a person’s daily routine; stability indicates work is being done, while inconsistency and frequent changes in direction suggest an unstable mindset.

These days, Layer2 is again arguing over TPS, costs, and ecosystem subsidies. It looks a lot like “spending money to buy excitement.” It’s not that subsidies are necessarily bad, but if there are no subsequent small fixes—like documentation, audits, developer support patches—then the excitement will be empty once it passes. Anyway, I judge by this: can they keep patching continuously? Can they fix the pitfalls? That’s more like long-termism than slogans.
