Elon Musk accepte de faire de ASTEROID la mascotte de SpaceX, la valeur de la crypto-monnaie Meme du même nom a brièvement dépassé 160 millions de dollars.

ChainCatcher message, during a discussion about the late girl Liv Perrotto’s question, she once proposed whether her designed “ASTEROID” could be used as SpaceX’s mascot. In response, Musk replied “Ok”.

Inspired by this message, the Ethereum-based Meme coin ASTEROID (launched as early as September 2024) briefly surpassed a market cap of 160 million USD, now at 116 million USD, with a 24-hour increase of over 500%, and a 24-hour trading volume exceeding 77 million USD.

It is reported that before her death from cancer at age 15, Liv Perrotto’s biggest wish was to meet Musk, and she wrote a list of questions she wanted to ask. She previously participated in designing a zero-gravity doll called “Asteroid” — a Shiba Inu figure. Her mother then publicly wrote to Musk, hoping he would consider making Asteroid the official mascot of SpaceX according to Liv Perrotto’s wish. Musk responded, “Will reply shortly later.”
